No Country For Old Men
The coolness of Fargo blends with the sweltering heat of the American South in this Coen classic. Javier Bardem won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in 2008 for his role as the psychopathic killer, while the Coen brothers won Oscars for Best Film, Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay.
In rural Texas, welder and hunter Llewelyn Moss (Josh Brolin) discovers the remains of several drug smugglers who have killed each other in a violent deal gone wrong. Instead of reporting the discovery to the police, Moss decides to keep the two million dollars he finds for himself. This sets psychopathic killer Anton Chigurh (Javier Bardem) on his trail, who cold-bloodedly murders almost every rival, passer-by and even his employer in his search for the money. As Moss desperately tries to stay one step ahead, the blood flows with relentless intensity as Chigurh closes in. Meanwhile, the taciturn Sheriff Ed Tom Bell (Tommy Lee Jones) casually oversees the investigation, even though he is struggling with the sheer magnitude of the crimes he is trying to prevent.
