Jeanne du Barry

Jeanne Vaubernier, a common girl striving for social advancement, uses her charms and intelligence to climb the social ladder. Count Du Barry, who gains great wealth through Jeanne's lucrative gallantries and marries her for that reason, introduces her to King Louis XV. It is love at first sight.
