The Bouvier-Sauvage family proudly looks back on a long aristocratic line of ancestors. When the only daughter announces that she wants to marry the son of a simple Peugeot dealer, they are less than delighted. When the future in-laws meet for the first time, they quickly realise that it is not just wine and car preferences that separate them, but entire worlds. To make matters worse, the future bride and groom have commissioned DNA tests that reveal more about the ancestry of those present. Oh la la, now the mood is threatening to tip completely over the edge, as the test results could bring down many a family tree and crash the wedding.
