The Life of Chuck

The world is coming to an end: Germany is swallowed up by a volcano, California sinks into the sea and the internet is dead. In this chaos, accountant Charles “Chuck” Krantz (Tom Hiddleston), of all people, is a constant. He adorns huge billboards and all the TV screens, which only broadcast Chuck's face and a fat thank you for his services. But who is this guy? A mystery that goes way back ... to his childhood with his grandmother, who passed on her endless love of dancing to him, and his grandfather, who initiated him into the secrets of bookkeeping and was determined to protect him from those of the locked attic. A mystery that raises one question above all: can the fate of one person change the whole world?
