Project Hail Mary

Science teacher Ryland Grace (Ryan Gosling) wakes up one day on a spaceship—light-years from home and with no memory of who he is or how he got there. As his memory gradually returns, he discovers what his mission is: to solve the mystery of a mysterious substance that is causing the sun to go out.
