Pink Floyd - The Wall is the film adaptation of Pink Floyd's concept album "The Wall" and was directed by British master director Sir Alan Parker in 1982, starring Sir Bob Geldof.
The film tells the story of the rock musician Pink, who is mentally grappling with his own situation. The film does not follow a stringent plot, but rather lets the protagonist's memories, ideas, fears and dreams either pass in review or become visible in the form of comic strips, shorter scenes, interludes and video clips. The film is accompanied by the music of Pink Floyd, who are responsible for the basic idea, the lyrics and the music.
