Red carpet, spotlights, fans screaming, photographers hunting for the best photo, camera teams awaiting interviews - a premiere is coming up and Germany's biggest film star, Marvin Bosch (Elyas M'Barek), is eagerly awaited. But Marvin is kept waiting. Because the interview with the biting tabloid journalist Bettina Bamberger (Alexandra Maria Lara) has gone thoroughly wrong and the star, on the run from the media, ends up in Frieda's (Lucie Heinze) feminist off-theatre "3000", of all places, which is about to go out of business. Will Marvin, Frieda and their friends, under the watchful eye of the astonished public, manage to save the theatre, restore Marvin's reputation and, above all, give love a chance?
