Georgia has dreamed of joining the fire brigade since she was a little girl - just like her father! But there are no female firefighters in 1930s New York City, and Daddy naturally wants to shelter and protect his little girl. When several firemen disappear in a mysterious series of fires on Broadway, Georgia sees her chance. She disguises herself as a man - and under a false identity helps her father in a high-risk investigation to track down and stop the arsonist.
